The plain-language version: use GigPiece to track your own gigs, don't rely on its estimates as professional advice, and don't misuse it. The details are below.
By creating a GigPiece account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use GigPiece. GigPiece is built and operated by Ken Apperson.
GigPiece reads your connected calendar to automatically track your gigs, pay, mileage, and estimated taxes, and offers optional tools like a public gig-calendar widget and a contract/invoice assistant for private bookings.
GigPiece is under active development and may be in a beta or early-access period. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Nothing in GigPiece — including tax rate, mileage deduction, and income estimates — is tax, financial, or legal advice. It's a planning tool; verify anything that matters against your own records or a licensed professional.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter (venue pay, home address, income) and for keeping access to your device and accounts secure. GigPiece only ever requests read-only calendar access — it will never modify or delete events on your actual calendar. You can disconnect a calendar at any time in Settings.
If you opt in to the Virtual Manager feature, you're choosing to make certain non-private gig details (venue, date, time) publicly viewable at a link you control. You're responsible for what you embed and where; GigPiece automatically excludes anything you've marked private, but you should still review the public feed yourself before sharing it.
You may stop using GigPiece and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, or discontinue the service entirely, with notice where reasonably practical.
We may update these terms as GigPiece changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below.
